I had to respond to this. I'm sorry, I just can't allow someone to insult people in such a manner.

The militray of not only the United States but also many Commonwealth nations (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) are some of the best people I have ever worked with. As a former First Lieutenant, United States Marine Corps, I have taken nothing but pleasure and honor in my service to my country. Many I have worked with - from soldiers with 10th Cavalry to 42 Commando, SAS, British Army - have been pleasant and smart individuals.

To make such a broad generalization like that ****es me off more than anything else. But it's okay, because while I spent four years serving my country, you were sitting in your mother's house, watching the Military Channel and Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey, United States Marine Corps, prattle on about all the military technology and famous battles of wars past while you dug your grubby little fingers into that bag of Cheeto-s and thought to yourself, "It might be cool, one day...".

But you'll never put on the uniform, because you're an ignorant and yellow-bellied child, and always will be one.

Oh, and I'd love to see you say something like that to a veteran of any nation's military who takes pride in their service. See if they don't beat the everloving man-**** out of you.

HOOAH!!!!! I don't know who made that comment you are replying to but I back you!!! I am a US Army vet. I find that comment to be sickening. To the ****** who posted it.. don't talk about something you have no idea about. You don't know a damn thing about the military or the people who serve in it. While you are sitting in moms basement hiding and playing games like COD4 or what not there are people out there who are living it and why? To keep idiots like you safe. So that you have freedom, and instead of showing respect you tear them down??? you make me sick. I sir, unlike you served my country and I did it with honor and integrity.. what the hell have you ever done? and just to affirm what Azelor Delaria said, if I ever met you face to face and you said something like that I would total you where you stand!

I don't think you know anything about it either tbh but thank you for not showing disrespect. And I think in a lot of cases you will find that some of us agree W. is a criminal and what not. I won't argue that! Just my 2 cents there.
